The Estonian Islands\u2019 Energy Agency leads the project, and activities will begin already in August this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EISEA Project Coordinator Kristiin Mets says:<br>&#8220;Environmental and energy topics are often complex and require explanation. We often don&#8217;t know how to present them in a way that resonates with and inspires listeners and readers and encourages them to think along. That\u2019s why various teaching and guidance materials are essential. We\u2019re pleased that we now have the resources to create them, with the help of top experts from the Baltic Sea islands, including companies, municipalities, an academic institution and NGOs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project Partners:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00c5land University of Applied Sciences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Science Park Gotland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energi Centrum Gotland (Energicentrum Gotland)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Government of \u00c5land (\u00c5lands landskapsregering)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Baltic Energy Island (Bornholm)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regional Municipality of Bornholm (Bornholms Regionskommune)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This project will help us better understand why green energy and environmentally friendly solutions are necessary and how we can work together to achieve meaningful results.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NordPlus Horizontal programme supports an international project to create educational materials about the environment and energy for the Baltic Sea islands.
